Allied – Spitfire Mk 1 – N3239

Pilot Officer J. Zurakowski was in control of the N3239 when it was stationed with Squadron 234, which had its home base at Middle Wallop.

During the combat that was taking place, a Messerschmitt Bf109 was chasing a Spitfire, and they were ultimately successful in eliminating the Spitfire from the conflict. Zurakowski was successful in opening the canopy and escaping the situation. The Spitfire, on the other hand, fell to earth and crashed in Little Burbridge Farm, which is located close to Godshill.
