Nash, a renowned architect, had been making visits to the Isle of Wight starting from the year 1793. In the year 1798, the individual in question acquired a parcel of land situated in East Cowes, upon which they proceeded to construct a rural abode known as East Cowes Castle. Regrettably, this architectural structure was later demolished during the 1960s. Nash concluded their professional career at this location in the year 1834, subsequently passing away in the month of May in 1835.

The last resting place of the individual in question is located inside the premises of St. James’ Church, situated in East Cowes.
