Now demolished - the station building now gone, and the trackbed filled in although part of the sweep of the platform edge was still visible in the small park now in play.

There is still evidence of the platform. The former station is now a public parking lot for cyclists using the nearby Perowne Way. The grassy side of the island platform is opposite the parking lot and bike path.
While the station structure and trackbed have been removed and filled in respectively, a small park has been created on the former platform. The area to the south of the station now hosts brand new apartments. There is still a rifle club that uses the tunnel. Three books give various opening dates for the station, creating some uncertainty.
On May 14th, 1871, orders were issued to open the station “forthwith.” It was initially published in October 1871 in Bradshaw. Originally, there was a small siding on the up-side of the railway at the station. In 1985, the area was removed save for the tunnel entrance and a short bit of the platform, and new homes were constructed there.
Mill Hill, the last stop before Cowes on the Cowes & Newport Railway, opened to the public in 1862 and included a single platform and no passing loops or sidings. Mill Hill Tunnel, the shortest of the island’s four tunnels, was located just to the north of the station.
