Although the trackbed has been infilled up to the level of the platform, the platform edge is still visible, and so is the station structure. In time, the owner intends to rehabilitate the structure. From 1897 until the terminal in Ventnor Town opened on June 1, 1990, passengers were first had to get off at St. Lawrence. Wedged between the cliff and a public road, the station may be found at the foot of a somewhat high cliff. Before the undergrowth had established itself, rock slides were a regular occurrence.
On the opposite side of the St Lawrence Chute bridge was a tiny goods yard that was serviced by a short line. Before Ventnor Town was built, the station was known as St. Lawrence; thereafter, it was renamed to St. Ventnor. In 1927, the station was deactivated and no longer required a crew.
