The station was dismantled, and a new road was built over the southern portion of the former station’s property. The Station Hotel, which was nearby, is still standing and now serves as apartments. Wroxall Station, as originally constructed, only included a single platform on the up-line side. The Southern Railway expanded the Ryde to Ventnor line in 1925.
There is now a down side platform and crossing loop at Wroxall, as well as a modest waiting shelter. On the other side of the Castle Road bridge was a little goods yard that was serviced by a single siding.
When the Shanklin to Ventnor line of the Isle of Wight Railway opened in 1866, it brought with it two platforms, a passing loop and a 280-foot siding at Wroxall. When the railway to Ventnor was shortened to Shanklin in 1966, the station closed as well.
