The platform and station building are both extant, the building having been converted into a youth centre (1990). A public footpath runs along the track bed at this point.

The station building and platform are still there (1990), with the latter now serving as a youth centre. The trackbed here is also used as a public walkway. The station’s lengthy passing loop and second platform were dismantled since they were no longer in use by the 1920s.
A stream running beneath the line towards the end of the up platform caused an unusual offset between the two platforms. Behind the elevated platform was a small goods yard that was serviced by a 320-foot single-track siding.
In 2013–2014, the Yarmouth station underwent restoration to make it more appealing to visitors. An addition to the station building in the style of a reproduction of the old structure, complete with a canopy, has replaced the youth hostel building at the northern end of the platform.
On the northernmost part of the platform stands a large, wooden replica of a signal box. Indeed, you’re looking at a bird hide. The quality of the job is excellent throughout. The building’s former administration area is now a restaurant/café filled with vintage railway artefacts.
